Description

Brown meat and chop into bits.

Lightly brown garlic in oil.

Add beans, water, meat, onion, celery, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.

Simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Add 1/2 to 3/4 package cooked shell pasta to the sauce.

  • 2 (15-ounce) cans kidney beans
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 1/2 cans water, using the bean cans
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (16-ounce) package roll sausage, such as Jimmy Dean
  • 1/2 to 3/4 package cooked shell pasta
