Description
Sift the flour once, measure, add baking powder and salt, and sift again.
Melt the butter and chocolate over boiling water.
Add the sugar gradually to the eggs, beating thoroughly.
Add the chocolate mixture and blend.
Add the flour mixture and mix well, then add nuts and vanilla.
Bake in a greased 13 1/2-by-8 3/4-inch pan at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a tester indicates doneness.
