Description

Preheat oven to 350°F. Boil and drain the ziti.

Meanwhile, mix together the sauce, half-and-half, mozzarella, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic, parsley if desired, and pepper in a large bowl.

Add the cooked ziti. Pour the mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and the reserved mozzarella on top.

Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden. Cooked Italian sausage, crumbled, may be added.
